Rajagiri Vidyapeetham, driven by the CMI vision for excellence in education, has expanded its reach with the establishment of Rajagiri College of Management & Applied Sciences. The College is part of the sprawling 85-acre Rajagiri Valley campus, beautifully situated along the Chitrapuzha and Kadambrayar rivers. Strategically located near industrial and technological hubs, Rajagiri Vidyapeetham offers a comprehensive educational journey from pre-primary to doctoral levels and is committed to contemporary, relevant curricula, along with necessary approvals and accreditations, considering the evolving needs of students while maintaining its core focus on excellence and holistic development.

Evolution of Excellence: Rajagiri College of Management & Applied Sciences

With the vision to become the global knowledge nest, Rajagiri College of Management & Applied Sciences came into existence in the year 2005. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers undergraduate & post-graduate degrees conferred by the university, striving to become a global knowledge nest this temple of learning aspires to mould the individuals to become responsible citizens with intellectual, social, and environmental awareness.
RCMAS began its journey under the prominent guidance of Rev. Fr. Augustine Thottakkara, the first manager, Rev. Fr. James T Antony, the first administrator, and Prof. Manoj Menon, the first principal. In 2006, Prof. P K George took charge as the Dean of Studies marking a profound influence in the growth of the college. Accommodating all the qualities of an academician he strived to accelerate the all-round development of students. The college initially offered two courses BBA and B.Com Model 1 Computer. In 2008, the college blossomed under the stewardship of Fr. John Therezhath. It was in the same year, the new college building was blessed and the students were shifted to the new building. Diversified courses such as Bachelor of Computer Applications, B.Com Model 1 Computer, B.Com Model 2 Computer, B.Com Model 2 Taxation and B.Com Model 1 Taxation were introduced in 2011.

In 2014 the college metamorphosed with a charismatic aura under the guidance of Rev Fr. A.J. Saviance CMI. Emphasizing all round development of students, he encouraged the activities of various clubs like Sports club, Arts & Cultural Club, Literary Club, Environmental Club, E-cell etc. It was his staunch love for nature, that made the campus develop into a ‘green canopy with his humanitarian approach, he formed Social Awareness club which has always been a helping hand to the needy. Rev. Fr. A.J. Saviance continues to serve as the impeccable model for all the members of the institution. In 2014, the college introduced two new courses, B.Com Model 2 Marketing and B.Com Model 2 Logistics. In addition to the other courses, B A English Literature, Communication and Journalism (Triple Main) was started in the year 2015. Offering courses in Arts and Applied Sciences, 2016 welcomed BA Animation and M.Com.

Expanding the horizon the college rifted various courses and formed nine departments; Department of Management headed by Prof. P B Surendran, Department of Computer Science by Mr. Joby Jacob, Department of Languages by Ms. Amala Manavalan, Department of B.Com Model 1 Computer by Ms. Anupa Stanley, and Department of B.Com Model 2 Computer by Mr. Ajish V Nair, Department of B.Com Model 1 Taxation by Ms. Jissy Joseph, Department of B.Com Model 2 Taxation by Ms. Tessy Biju, Department of B.Com Model 2 Marketing by Mr. Ashish C Pius and Department of B.Com Model 2 Logistics by Mr. Jose Francis. This helped the Rajagirians to nurture themselves to bring out their best in different dimensions.
