The Committee for SC/ST at Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences, Kakkanad, is dedicated to supporting and empowering students from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories. This committee aims to ensure equal access to educational opportunities, foster an inclusive and supportive environment, and address the unique needs and challenges faced by SC/ST students.


To create an equitable and inclusive educational environment that empowers SC/ST students to achieve academic excellence, personal growth, and social integration, thereby contributing to a just and fair society.

  1. Academic Support:
    • Offer additional academic assistance through remedial classes, tutoring, and mentorship programs tailored to the needs of SC/ST students.
    • Provide access to academic resources, study materials, and learning aids.
  2. Financial Assistance:
    • Inform SC/ST students about available scholarships, grants, and financial aid schemes.
    • Assist in the application process for scholarships and other financial support programs.
  3. Counseling and Mentorship:
    • Provide personal and career counseling to address the social, emotional, and psychological challenges faced by SC/ST students.
    • Establish mentorship programs connecting SC/ST students with faculty and senior students for guidance and support.
  4. Grievance Redressal:
