Course Aim:
The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Sports Psychology by integrating psychological theories with practical applications to enhance athletic performance, well-being, and professional competencies in sports-related environments.
Course Objectives:
This course aims to familiarize students with the history, scope, and contemporary developments in Sports Psychology. Students will examine psychological determinants of performance, including motivation, anxiety, attention, and stress. They will gain practical exposure to athlete assessment methods, psychological skills training, biofeedback, and ethical practices. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply performance enhancement techniques, conduct basic assessments, and understand the role of sports psychologists in training and competition.
