Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell (SEDG)

Introduction
The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell was established in RCMAS with a fundamental belief: that every student, regardless of their economic background, deserves equal opportunity to pursue higher education and achieve academic excellence. RCMAS recognize that financial constraints should never be a barrier to realizing one’s educational aspirations and potential.
SEDG cell serves as a dedicated support system and advocate for the students. The cell works to identify and address the unique challenges faced by economically disadvantaged students, ensuring they have access to scholarships, financial aid, free educational resources, mentorship programs and emergency assistance when needed. Beyond material support, the cell strives to create an inclusive campus environment where every student feels valued, respected and empowered to succeed.
