Retraction & Correction Policy

The Rajagiri Journal of Innovations and Multidisciplinary Research (RJIMR) is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy and reliability of the scholarly record. In cases where errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified in published articles, the journal will take appropriate actions in accordance with accepted academic publishing standards.

Corrections

If minor errors are identified in a published article that do not affect the overall validity or conclusions of the research, the journal may publish a correction notice (Erratum or Corrigendum).
Corrections may be issued in cases such as:

  • Typographical errors
  • Minor data inaccuracies
  • Errors in author names, affiliations, or acknowledgments
  • Minor formatting or referencing issues

The corrected information will be clearly indicated to ensure transparency and maintain the accuracy of the scholarly record.

Retractions

An article may be retracted if significant issues are discovered that invalidate the findings or violate ethical standards. Retraction may occur in situations such as:

  • Evidence of plagiarism
  • Fabrication or falsification of data
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Serious methodological errors that affect the validity of the research
  • Unethical research practices
  • Authorship disputes or undisclosed conflicts of interest

Retraction may be initiated by the authors, reviewers, editors, or the publisher when credible evidence of misconduct or serious error is identified.

Retraction Procedure

When a potential issue is reported, the editorial team will conduct a thorough evaluation, which may include communication with the authors and relevant institutions. If a retraction is deemed necessary, the journal will publish a retraction notice clearly explaining the reason for the retraction. The original article will remain accessible for the scholarly record but will be clearly marked as “Retracted.”

Ethical Responsibility

RJIMR strives to ensure transparency and uphold ethical standards in academic publishing. Authors, reviewers and editors share responsibility in maintaining the credibility and reliability of the research published in the journal.
