Publication Ethics

The Rajagiri Journal of Innovations and Multidisciplinary Research (RJIMR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows ethical guidelines to ensure transparency, fairness and credibility in scholarly publishing. All authors, reviewers and editors are expected to adhere to these principles throughout the publication process.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to RJIMR must ensure that:

  • The submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All sources of information, ideas, or data from other works are properly cited and acknowledged.
  • The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data.
  • All listed authors have made significant contributions to the research and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
  • Any conflict of interest, financial or otherwise, that may influence the research outcomes is clearly disclosed.
  • If errors are discovered after publication, authors must promptly inform the editorial team to enable corrections or retractions if necessary.


Responsibilities of Reviewers

Peer reviewers play an essential role in maintaining the quality of published research. Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective, constructive and unbiased evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the content of the manuscript.
  • Avoid using unpublished material from the manuscript for personal research without the author’s permission.
  • Inform the editor of any potential conflicts of interest before accepting the review assignment.
  • Complete the review within the stipulated timeframe.


Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the publication process. Their duties include:

  • Making fair and unbiased editorial decisions based on the scholarly merit of the manuscript.
  • Ensuring that manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic value, originality and relevance to the journal.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Preventing any conflict of interest in the editorial decision-making process.
  • Taking appropriate action in cases of suspected ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or research malpractice.


Ethical Misconduct

RJIMR does not tolerate unethical practices such as:

  • Plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Misrepresentation of authorship
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest

If any ethical misconduct is identified, the journal reserves the right to reject the manuscript, retract the published article, or take appropriate corrective measures.

All submissions to RJIMR must comply with accepted ethical standards in academic research and publication. The journal strives to uphold transparency, accountability and academic excellence in all aspects of its publication process.
