Peer Review Policy

The Rajagiri Journal of Innovations and Multidisciplinary Research (RJIMR) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality and scholarly integrity of the research published in the journal.

Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a structured review process as outlined below:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team conducts a preliminary evaluation of the manuscript to assess its relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, academic quality and adherence to submission guidelines.
  2. Plagiarism Screening
All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and compliance with ethical publishing standards.
  3. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two independent subject experts for evaluation under the double-blind review system, where both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous.
  4. Peer Review Evaluation
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:
    • Originality and novelty of the research
    • Relevance to the journal’s scope
    • Methodological rigor
    • Clarity of analysis and discussion
    • Contribution to academic knowledge
    • Quality of writing and structure
  5. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor may take one of the following decisions:
    • Accept without revisions
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Request major revisions
    • Reject the manuscript
  6. Revision and Final Decision
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. The revised manuscript will be evaluated by the editorial team and, if necessary, may be sent for further review before a final decision is made.

Review Timeline

The journal aims to complete the review process within 4–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions required.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.
  • Provide objective and constructive feedback.
  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Complete the review within the stipulated timeframe.

Ethical Considerations

The peer review process at RJIMR adheres to recognized academic publishing standards to ensure fairness, transparency and academic integrity.
