The Rock Pigeon, also known as the common pigeon, is a widespread bird species found in urban as well as rural areas. Characterized by its grey plumage, iridescent neck feathers, and distinctive cooing call, the Rock Pigeon is a familiar sight in cities where it thrives on food scraps and grains. Native to Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia and it has been introduced to other places all around the world. They typically nest on walls or sun shades of buildings, where they get enough hiding facility.
