DEAR – Department of English Alumni for Rajagiri

DEAR, the Department of English Alumni for Rajagiri, is the official alumni body of the Department of English, Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences (RCMAS), Kakkanad, Kochi. More than a formal network, DEAR is a living community — a testament to the enduring relationships forged within the classrooms, seminar halls, and corridors of one of Kerala’s most dynamic English departments.

DEAR exists to strengthen the relationship between the Department of English and its growing community of graduates. What DEAR Does

• Guest Lectures and Interactions — inviting alumni to return to the classroom as speakers, resource persons, and panellists, bringing fresh perspectives from diverse fields including media, education, publishing, corporate communication, and the arts.
• Networking and Reunions — providing alumni with platforms — both physical and digital — to reconnect with batchmates and faculty, rekindle friendships, and build professional alliances.
