INVICTA – Commerce Association
INVICTA is the academic association of the Department of Commerce at Rajagiri College of Management & Applied Sciences. The name INVICTA, meaning “unconquered” in Latin, reflects the spirit of steady perseverance and commitment that the association seeks to nurture among its members. It provides a structured platform for students to deepen their understanding of commerce and related fields while developing the practical abilities required for professional growth.
Objectives:
- Academic Focus: Strengthen core knowledge in subjects such as accounting, finance, taxation, business management, and economics through structured learning beyond the classroom.

FLAME – Students Club
Fueling Leadership, Innovation and Commerce Excellence
FLAME is the flagship students’ club of the Department of Commerce at Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences (RCMAS), established to nurture leadership, innovation, professional competence and experiential learning among commerce students. The club serves as a vibrant platform that bridges classroom learning with industry exposure, practical application and community engagement. FLAME functions through five specialised verticals – Finance, Logistics, Accounting, Marketing and Entrepreneurship – enabling students to develop domain-specific knowledge, professional skills and leadership qualities essential for future career success.
- Finance: The Finance vertical enhances students’ understanding of financial systems, investment practices and emerging financial trends through activities such as Budget Analysis Sessions, Investment Awareness Programmes, Financial Planning Workshops, FinTech Seminars and Stock Market Learning Initiatives. The vertical aims to strengthen analytical thinking and financial decision-making capabilities.
- Logistics: The Logistics vertical provides exposure to supply chain management, transportation systems and global business operations through industry visits, logistics case discussions, trade awareness sessions and expert interactions. Students gain insights into operational efficiency and modern logistics practices.
- Accounting: The Accounting vertical focuses on strengthening technical competencies through GST and Tax Practice Workshops, Accounting Software Training, Financial Statement Analysis and Professional Career Guidance Programmes (CA/CMA/CS). The objective is to equip students with practical accounting knowledge and professional readiness.
- Marketing: The Marketing vertical promotes creativity, strategic thinking and communication skills through Digital Marketing Campaign Contests, Branding Workshops, Commerce Fest Activities, Consumer Behaviour Studies and Student-led Promotional Initiatives. Students gain practical exposure to contemporary marketing practices and market dynamics.
- Entrepreneurship: The Entrepreneurship vertical cultivates innovation and business acumen through Entrepreneurship Bootcamps, Startup Founder Interactions, Business Idea Pitch Competitions and Campus Trade Fairs.
