Authors intending to submit manuscripts to the Rajagiri Journal of Innovations and Multidisciplinary Research (RJIMR) must follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure consistency, clarity and academic quality in submissions.
Manuscript Length
- Research Articles: 4,000 – 6,000 words
- Review Articles: 5,000 – 7,000 words
- Case Studies / Short Papers: 3,000 – 4,500 words
Word count includes references but excludes appendices where applicable.
Manuscript Formatting
Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the following formatting requirements:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 pt (main text)
- Headings: 14 pt, bold
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Alignment: Justified
Title and Author Information
The manuscript should include a separate title page containing:
- Title of the paper
- Name(s) of author(s)
- Institutional affiliation
- Email address of the corresponding author
- ORCID ID (if available)
To maintain double-blind peer review, the main manuscript file should not contain author-identifying information.
Abstract and Keywords
Each manuscript must include:
- Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the research objectives, methodology, key findings and conclusions.
- Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords.
Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should generally be organized in the following order:
- Title
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Review of Literature
- Objectives / Research Questions
- Methodology
- Results / Findings
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
- Appendices (if applicable)
The structure may vary depending on the nature of the research.
Tables and Figures
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively.
- Each table or figure must include a clear title and source where applicable.
- Images should be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
- Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted materials.
Referencing Style
RJIMR follows the APA (7th Edition) referencing style.
Authors must ensure that:
- All in-text citations are included in the reference list.
- References are formatted according to APA guidelines.
Ethical Compliance
Authors must ensure that their research complies with ethical standards, including:
- Proper acknowledgment of sources
- Avoidance of plagiarism
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest where applicable
Final Submission
Before submission, authors should ensure that:
- The manuscript follows the journal formatting requirements.
- The manuscript has been carefully proofread.
- All required sections are included.
Submissions that do not follow these guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction before being sent for review.
